rambling

it's 3 something in the morning and i'm up in the wee hours of the morning, procrastinating on what is my most difficult school semester of my life. tonight my town is usually noisy at night but tonight it's dead silent.

i'm up browsing the web, listening to 1 song on repeat for the past hour from the new Linkin Park record "Minutes To Midnight".

i finally saw a movie for the first time in months, i saw "The Ex" a very good movie in my opinion, i did see the "Scrubs" humor in this movie. i thought Zach Braff's performance was brilliant.

in other news one of my favorite local bands will be playing again! Phaze One are going to be playing 1 or 2 shows in the coming weeks and i'm really excited about that. Also my band Rebel Army will be playing for the 3rd or 4th straight year in a row Carson High's Connexions at the Carson Civic Center on May 31st Admission is FREE the show starts at 5pm, there will be other performers and other things that i don't remember at the moment but come out and have a good time.

i've been writing a lot of lyrics of late, well not so much as a like but still i've been writing on and off during the past couple of weeks during this hectic time that is narrowing down as the semester comes to a close. and it's almost been one year since i've graduated from high school it's amazing how time has flown by, i don't like it but there is not much i can do about it so i must go with the flow.

summer is coming and the only thing i know for sure that i'm going to do is going to warped tour twice Ventura and Carson, i have plans for: going to Dodger game, Angels Game, seeing the Gold Cup(ie: Guatemala vs. El Salvador or Guatemala vs. USA) The Los Angeles Galaxy vs anyteam really before the arrival of David Beckham and after the arrival the season is just getting started and i already like that fact that one of my teams is on top of the Western Conference(FC DALLAS) the Galaxy have a long schedule ahead of them and i hope they shape up and start moving up points wise.

another thing i have in my for my band this summer, is dipping in the waters of pay-to-play shows at local clubs(Chain Reaction & The Knitting Factory) since we don't get any shows locally the next choice is to play at clubs and try to win new people over with our music. also i want to create "Rebel Army" merch as soon as possible so people could purchase and help us progress forward. As far as new music goes, there is plenty of new music that not many people have heard, we got a couple of songs that don't have lyrics at the moment but most of them are finished. as far as recording goes where in the market as it were looking for a studio and trying to set some time aside which is hard since 3 out of the 4 are working members of society but nonetheless we're trying to get something done.

well i'm going to try to get some work done before i start to have a panic attack about my procrastination, class is in about 5 hours. Ciao
